1. 1Benjamin had Bela his firstborn, Ashbel his second, and Aharah his third.
2. 2His 4th son was Nohah, and his 5th was Rapha.
3. 3Bela's sons were Addar, Gera, Abihud,
4. 4Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah,
5. 5Gera, Shephuphan, and Huram.
6. 6These were the sons of Ehud. They were the leaders of the families living in Geba, and they moved them to Manahath.
7. 7Naaman, Ahiah, and Gera, he removed them, and became the father of Uzza and Ahihud.
8. 8Shaharaim had children in the land of Moab after he sent away his wives Hushim and Baara.
9. 9Through his wife Hodesh, he became the father of Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malcham,
10. 10Jeuz, Shachia, and Mirma. These were his sons, heads of the fathers.
11. 11And through Hushim, he fathered Abitub and Elpaal.
12. 12The sons of Elpaal were Eber, Misham, and Shamed, who built Ono and Lod, along with their towns.
13. 13Beriah and Shema were also his sons. They became leaders of the families living in Aijalon and drove out the people of Gath.
14. 14Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth,
15. 15Zebadiah, Arad, and Ader,
16. 16Michael, Ispah, and Joha were the sons of Beriah.
17. 17Zebadiah, Meshullam, Hezeki, Heber,
18. 18Ishmerai, Jezliah, and Jobab were the sons of Elpaal.
19. 19Jakim, Zichri, Zabdi,
20. 20Elienai, Zilthai, Eliel,
21. 21Adaiah, Beraiah, and Shimrath were the sons of Shimhi.
22. 22Ishpan, Heber, Eliel,
23. 23Abdon, Zichri, Hanan,
24. 24Hananiah, Elam, Antothijah,
25. 25Iphedeiah, and Penuel were the sons of Shashak.
26. 26Shamsherai, Shehariah, Athaliah,
27. 27Jaresiah, Eliah, and Zichri were the sons of Jeroham.
28. 28All of these men were leaders of their families, listed by their generations as chief men. They lived in Jerusalem.
29. 29The father of Gibeon lived in Gibeon. His wife's name was Maachah.
30. 30His firstborn son was Abdon, followed by Zur, Kish, Baal, Nadab,
31. 31Gedor, Ahio, and Zacher.
32. 32Mikloth was the father of Shimeah. These also lived with their relatives in Jerusalem, across from them.
33. 33Ner was the father of Kish. Kish was the father of Saul. Saul was the father of Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab, and Eshbaal.
34. 34Jonathan's son was Meribbaal, and Meribbaal was the father of Micah.
35. 35Micah's sons were Pithon, Melech, Tarea, and Ahaz.
36. 36Ahaz was the father of Jehoadah. Jehoadah was the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri. Zimri was the father of Moza.
37. 37Moza was the father of Binea, and Rapha was his son, Eleasah his son, and Azel his son.
38. 38Azel had 6 sons: Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. All of these were Azel's sons.
39. 39His brother Eshek had sons as well: Ulam was his firstborn, Jehush was 2nd, and Eliphelet was 3rd.
40. 40Ulam's sons were mighty men of valor and archers. They had many sons and grandsons—150 in all. All of these were from the tribe of Benjamin.
