Sermon Builder is ClearBible’s sermon-writing workspace. You choose the passage, study it, pick an outline, and write every section yourself — with help available for exactly the section you are working on, never a sermon generated behind your back. The Bible text is always quoted word-for-word from a real translation.

How the Scripture-first process works

1. 1Start from ScriptureChoose the passage (or passages) you are preaching. The Bible text comes word-for-word from the translation you pick — never from an AI's memory.
2. 2Study the passageSee the passage's background and what it is saying before you write a word, so the sermon grows out of the text instead of being pasted onto it.
3. 3Choose a title and outlinePick from suggested titles and sermon outlines, or set your own. Your choice becomes real sections you write in, one at a time.
4. 4Write each section — with help when you want itWrite in your own words. When you want help with the open section, ask for it: draft it, continue it, improve it, expand or shorten it, add supporting Scripture, or add an illustration. Every change is yours to accept, change, or undo.
5. 5Check it, then preach itAnalyze reads the whole sermon and shows what is missing or unclear, with one-tap fixes. Preach mode gives you a clean, full-screen view with an estimated preaching time — on any device, including your phone.

What kind of help you get

The assistance works at the level of the section you have open. You can ask it to draft an empty section, continue or improve what you wrote, make a section longer or shorter, add supporting Scripture, or add an illustration or application. You can also bring in your own notes — typed, photographed, or spoken — and search your past sermons so a series stays consistent. Analyze reviews the finished sermon and every suggestion shows you a preview before it changes anything, with undo after. When it is time to preach, Preach mode and print or download options carry the same sermon — there is only ever one copy of your words.

Your sermons belong to you. They are private to your account, and sharing one is a link you create and can turn off.
