The LORD told Moses, "Put Aaron's staff back in front of the ark of the covenant. Keep it there as a warning to anyone who would rebel, so their complaining against me will stop and they won't have to die."
And the LORD said unto Moses, Bring Aaron’s rod again before the testimony, to be kept for a token against the rebels; and thou shalt quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not.
