- 1How beautiful your feet look in sandals, O prince's daughter! The curves of your thighs are like jewels shaped by a master craftsman's hands.
- 2Your navel is like a round goblet that never lacks wine. Your belly is like a heap of wheat surrounded by lilies.
- 3Your two breasts are like twin fawns of a gazelle.
- 4Your neck is like a tower of ivory. Your eyes are like the pools of Heshbon by the gate of Bathrabbim. Your nose is like the tower of Lebanon that faces Damascus.
- 5Your head on you is like Carmel, and the hair of your head like purple; the king is held in the galleries.
- 6How beautiful and pleasant you are, my love, for delights!
- 7Your stature is like a palm tree, and your breasts are like clusters of grapes.
- 8I said, I will go up to the palm tree, I will take hold of its boughs. Now also your breasts will be as clusters of the vine, and the smell of your nose like apples.
- 9And the roof of your mouth is like the best wine for my beloved, going down smoothly, causing the lips of those who are asleep to speak.
- 10I belong to my beloved, and his desire is for me.
- 11Come, my beloved! Let's go out to the open fields and spend the night in the villages.
- 12Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourishes, whether the tender grape appears, and the pomegranates bud forth. There I will give you my loves.
- 13The mandrakes give off their fragrance, and at our gates are all kinds of pleasant fruits, new and old, which I have stored up for you, O my beloved.
