The Fall · The garden of Eden

Genesis 3:22–24

22Then the LORD God said, "The man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand, take also from the tree of life, eat, and live forever—" 23So the LORD God sent Adam out of the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been made. 24After driving out the man, God placed Cherubims at the east of the Garden of Eden, along with a flaming sword that turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.

About this event

What happened?

God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil.” He must not reach out and take from the tree of life as well, and eat, and live forever. So the LORD God sent him out of the garden of Eden to work the ground he had been taken from. At the east of the garden, God placed cherubim (heavenly beings) and a flaming sword that turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.

Who is here?

Where did this happen?
