About this event

What happened?

Cain killed his brother Abel (Genesis 4:8). Adam and Eve had another son, named Seth. Genesis 4:25 says Eve named him, and Genesis 5:3 says Adam did. She said God had given her another child in place of Abel, because Cain had killed him. Genesis 5 says Adam was 130 years old when Seth was born, a son in his own likeness, after his image. Seth had a son named Enosh, and at that time people began to call on the name of the LORD.
