22Then a man possessed by a demon, blind and unable to speak, was brought to him. He healed him, so that the man could speak and see. 23The whole crowd was stunned. "Could this really be the Son of David?" they asked.

What happened

People brought Jesus a man with a demon who could not speak. Matthew says he was blind as well. Jesus healed him, and the man spoke. The crowds were amazed, and in Matthew they asked if this could be the Son of David.
