Jesus Blesses the Children

¹³People were bringing their little children to Jesus so he could touch them, but the disciples scolded those who brought them. ¹⁴When Jesus saw this, he was deeply upset. "Let the little children come to me!" he said. "Don't stop them, because the kingdom of God belongs to people like these. ¹⁵I tell you the truth: anyone who doesn't receive the kingdom of God the way a little child does will never enter it." ¹⁶Then he gathered the children into his arms, placed his hands on them, and blessed them.
