ClearBible.ai exists to make the Bible easier to understand without changing its meaning.
I set out to read the Bible from cover to cover and realized I wasn’t retaining as much as I wanted to.
The problem wasn’t a lack of interest. It was the old-fashioned language, difficult wording, and having to stop and look things up just to understand what I was reading.
I believed there had to be a clearer way.
So I set out to build ClearBible — a clear, easy-to-read Bible and simple study tools designed for everyday readers.
No ads.
No clutter.
No complicated features.
Just a cleaner way to read, understand, and study the Bible.

The Clear Bible Translation is written in clear, modern English to make the Bible easier to read and understand. We targeted a 7th-grade reading level while carefully preserving the meaning of each verse—without adding to it or taking anything away.
Every verse undergoes careful review and auditing to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and faithfulness to the original meaning.
Why some features are free
I believe the Bible should be freely accessible.
That's why reading the Bible, listening to Scripture, taking notes, highlighting passages, bookmarking verses, and many other core features are available at no cost.
My goal has never been to charge people to read God's Word.
Why some features are paid
AI-powered features require significant ongoing operating costs.
