Making Scripture clearer
The idea for ClearBible.ai began during my own attempt to read the Bible cover to cover. Months into the journey, I realized something frustrating: while I was making progress, I wasn't retaining nearly as much as I wanted. I found myself forgetting important details, struggling with difficult passages, and wishing there was a simpler way to understand and remember what I was reading.
That experience set me on a mission to create the tools I wished I had from the beginning.
ClearBible.ai was built to help people understand Scripture more clearly, stay engaged with God's Word, and retain what they read.
About the Clear Bible Translation
The Clear Bible Translation (CBT) was created to preserve the meaning of the King James Version while expressing it in clear, modern English.
Rather than paraphrasing Scripture or changing its message, the goal of the CBT is to present the same meaning verse-by-verse in language that modern readers can understand more easily.
Every verse undergoes careful review and auditing to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and faithfulness to the original meaning. The mission is simple: make the Bible clearer without compromising what it says.
Why some features are free
I believe the Bible should be freely accessible.
That's why reading the Bible, listening to Scripture, taking notes, highlighting passages, bookmarking verses, and many other core features are available at no cost.
My goal has never been to charge people to read God's Word.
