- 7I heard the man dressed in linen, who was over the waters of the river, as he raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven and swore by him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and a half. When he has finished scattering the power of the holy people, all these things will be finished.
- 8I heard what he said, but I didn't understand it. So I asked, "My lord, what will be the final outcome of all this?"
- 9He replied, "Go on your way, Daniel, because these words are sealed and kept secret until the time of the end.

- 11"From the time the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.
- 12Blessed is the one who waits and comes to the 1,335 days.
- 13As for you, go your way until the end. You will rest, and stand in your allotted place at the end of the days.
