- 1When that day comes, 7 women will grab hold of one man and say, "We'll provide our own food and our own clothing — just let us carry your name. Take away our disgrace."
- 2When that day comes, the branch of the LORD will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land will be excellent and lovely for the survivors of Israel.
- 3Everyone who remains in Zion and is left in Jerusalem will be called holy — every person whose name is recorded among the living in Jerusalem.
- 4This will happen when the Lord has washed away the filth of Zion's daughters and cleansed the bloodstains from Jerusalem through the spirit of judgment and the spirit of burning.
- 5Then the LORD will create over every dwelling place on Mount Zion and over all its assemblies a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night. For over all the glory there will be a defense.
- 6And there will be a tabernacle to provide shade from the daytime heat, a place of refuge, and a hiding place from the storm and from the rain.
