- 1When someone brings a grain offering to the LORD, it must be made from fine flour. They are to pour oil over it and add frankincense.
- 2They must bring it to Aaron's sons, the priests. The priest will scoop up a handful of the flour and oil, along with all the frankincense, and burn this portion on the altar as a memorial. It is an offering made by fire, and its aroma is pleasing to the LORD.
- 3Whatever is left of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons. It is an especially holy part of the offerings made by fire to the LORD.
- 4If you bring a grain offering baked in an oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mixed with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.
- 5If your grain offering is baked in a pan, it must be made of fine flour mixed with oil and without yeast.
- 6Break it into pieces and pour oil over it. This is a grain offering.
- 7If your grain offering is cooked in a pan, it must be made of fine flour with oil.
- 8Bring the grain offering prepared in any of these ways to the LORD. Present it to the priest, and he will carry it to the altar.
- 9The priest will remove the memorial portion from the grain offering and burn it on the altar. It is an offering made by fire, and its aroma is pleasing to the LORD.
- 10Whatever is left of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons. It is an especially holy part of the offerings made by fire to the LORD.
- 11No grain offering that you bring to the LORD may contain yeast. You must never burn yeast or honey as an offering made by fire to the LORD.
- 12You may present yeast and honey to the LORD as an offering of firstfruits, but they must not be burned on the altar as a pleasing aroma.
- 13Season every grain offering with salt. Never leave out the salt of the covenant of your God from your grain offering. Include salt with all your offerings.
- 14If you offer a grain offering of your firstfruits to the LORD, you shall present green ears of corn dried by the fire, even corn beaten out of full ears.
- 15Pour oil over it and add frankincense. This is a grain offering.
- 16The priest will burn the memorial portion — some of the crushed grain and some of the oil, along with all the frankincense — as an offering made by fire to the LORD.
