  1. 1These are the instructions for the trespass offering. It is most holy.
  2. 2The guilt offering must be slaughtered in the same place where the burnt offering is killed. The priest will then sprinkle its blood on all sides of the altar.
  3. 3The priest must offer all of the animal's fat: the fat tail, the fat covering the internal organs,
  4. 4the 2 kidneys with the fat around them near the loins, and the covering on the liver, which he will remove along with the kidneys.
  5. 5The priest will burn them on the altar as an offering made by fire to the LORD. It is a trespass offering.
  6. 6Any male among the priests may eat from it, but it must be eaten in a holy place. It is most holy.
  7. 7As the sin offering is, so is the trespass offering. There is one law for them. The priest who makes atonement with it will have it.
  8. 8When a priest offers someone's burnt offering, he may keep the hide of that animal for himself.
  9. 9Every grain offering that is baked in an oven, cooked in a pan, or prepared on a griddle belongs to the priest who offers it.
  10. 10But every grain offering — whether mixed with oil or dry — belongs equally to all of Aaron's sons, shared among them.
  11. 11These are the instructions for the peace offering presented to the LORD.
  12. 12If someone offers it as an expression of thanksgiving, he must also bring unleavened cakes mixed with oil, unleavened wafers spread with oil, and fine flour cakes fried in oil.
  13. 13Along with these cakes, he must also include loaves of leavened bread as part of his thanksgiving peace offering.
  14. 14From each type of bread, he must set aside one portion as a special contribution to the LORD. That portion goes to the priest who sprinkles the blood of the peace offering.
  15. 15The meat from a thanksgiving peace offering must be eaten on the same day it is offered. None of it may be left until morning.
  16. 16However, if the offering is given to fulfill a vow or as a voluntary gift, it should be eaten on the day it is offered, but whatever is left over may also be eaten the next day.
  17. 17Any meat still remaining on the 3rd day must be burned up completely.
  18. 18If any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings is eaten at all on the 3rd day, it will not be accepted or credited to him who offers it. It will be an abomination, and the soul who eats of it will bear his iniquity.
  19. 19Any meat that touches something unclean must not be eaten; it must be burned with fire. As for the rest of the meat, all who are clean may eat it.
  20. 20But the soul that eats the flesh of the peace offering belonging to the LORD while having uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from his people.
  21. 21Moreover, the soul that touches any unclean thing, whether it is the uncleanness of a person, an unclean animal, or any abominable unclean thing, and then eats the meat of the peace offerings that belong to the LORD, that soul shall be cut off from their people.
  22. 22The LORD spoke to Moses and said,
  23. 23"Tell the people of Israel: You must not eat the fat of an ox, a sheep, or a goat.
  24. 24The fat from an animal that dies on its own or is killed by wild animals may be used for other purposes, but you must never eat it.
  25. 25For whoever eats the fat of the animal offered as a fire offering to the LORD, the soul that eats it shall be cut off from his people.
  26. 26You must never eat any blood, whether from a bird or an animal, no matter where you live.
  27. 27Any soul that eats any kind of blood shall be cut off from their people.
  28. 28The LORD spoke to Moses and said,
  29. 29"Tell the people of Israel: Anyone who brings a peace offering to the LORD must personally present part of it as their gift to the LORD.
  30. 30With their own hands they must bring the fire offerings to the LORD. They must bring the fat along with the breast, and the breast will be waved before the LORD as a wave offering.
  31. 31The priest will burn the fat on the altar, but the breast belongs to Aaron and his sons.
  32. 32You must also give the right thigh to the priest as a special contribution from your peace offerings.
  33. 33Whichever son of Aaron offers the blood and fat of the peace offering gets the right thigh as his portion.
  34. 34I have taken the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the special contribution from the Israelites' peace offerings, and I have given them permanently to Aaron the priest and his sons. This is their rightful share from the people of Israel forever."
  35. 35This is the portion set apart from the LORD's fire offerings for Aaron and his sons, assigned to them on the day they were presented to serve the LORD as priests.
  36. 36The LORD commanded that the Israelites give this to them on the day he anointed them. It is their permanent share throughout every generation.
  37. 37These are the complete instructions for the burnt offering, the grain offering, the sin offering, the guilt offering, the ordination offering, and the peace offering —
