²⁹As soon as they left the synagogue, they went to the home of Simon and Andrew, along with James and John. ³⁰Simon's mother-in-law was lying in bed with a fever, and they told Jesus about her right away. ³¹He went to her, took her hand, and helped her up. The fever left her instantly, and she began serving them.
