The Lost Sheep

¹Then all the tax collectors and sinners came near to him to hear him. ²The Pharisees and the teachers of the law complained, saying, "This man welcomes sinners and eats with them." ³So Jesus told them this parable: ⁴Suppose one of you has 100 sheep and loses one of them. Wouldn't you leave the 99 in the wilderness and go searching for the lost one until you find it? ⁵And when he finds it, he puts it on his shoulders, rejoicing. ⁶Then you'd go home and call your friends and neighbors together and say, 'Celebrate with me! I found my lost sheep!' ⁷I'm telling you, there is more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over 99 righteous people who don't need repentance.
