Parables
A parable is a short story that uses everyday life to teach a spiritual truth. These are the parables of Jesus in Matthew, Mark and Luke, grouped by where he told them. When more than one Gospel tells the same parable, the accounts are kept together. Lists of parables differ a little, because some short sayings are counted by some readers and not by others.
