The Servant's Duty

⁷“But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will immediately say to him when he comes in from the field, ‘Go and sit down to eat’?” ⁸Of course not. You'd say, 'Get my dinner ready, then put on your apron and serve me while I eat and drink. After that, you can eat and drink.' ⁹Would you thank the servant for doing what he was told to do? I don't think so. ¹⁰In the same way, when you have done everything you were commanded to do, say, 'We are unprofitable servants. We have only done our duty.'
