Acts 11:25–30

25Then Barnabas departed for Tarsus to look for Saul. 26When he found him, he brought him to Antioch. And for a whole year they met with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch. 27In those days prophets came from Jerusalem to Antioch. 28One of them, named Agabus, stood up and indicated through the Spirit that there would be a great famine throughout all the world, which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar. 29Then the disciples, each according to his ability, determined to send relief to the brothers living in Judea. 30This they did, sending it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.
