Acts 9:32–35

32As Peter traveled through all the region, he also went down to the saints living in Lydda. 33There he found a man named Aeneas who had been bedridden for eight years, paralyzed. 34Peter said to him, "Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you. Get up and make your bed." And immediately he got up. 35All who lived in Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.

What happened?

As Peter traveled around the area, he came to the believers in Lydda. There he found a man named Aeneas, who had been paralyzed and in bed for eight years. “Aeneas,” Peter said, “Jesus Christ heals you! Get up and put away your mat.” At once Aeneas got up, and all who lived in Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.
