  1. 1Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a fault, you who are spiritual should restore that person with a spirit of meekness. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted.
  2. 2Carry each other's burdens. That's how you fulfill the law of Christ.
  3. 3If someone thinks they are something when they are nothing, they are deceiving themselves.
  4. 4But each person should test their own work, and then they can take pride in themselves alone, and not in someone else.
  5. 5For each person will carry their own load.
  6. 6Anyone who is being taught the word should share all good things with the person who teaches them.
  7. 7Don't be fooled — no one makes a mockery of God. Whatever a person plants, that's exactly what they'll harvest.
  8. 8For whoever sows to their flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but whoever sows to the Spirit will reap life everlasting from the Spirit.
  9. 9So let's not get tired of doing what's right. When the time comes, we will reap a harvest — as long as we don't give up.
  10. 10Whenever we have the chance, then, let's do good to everyone — and especially to those who belong to the family of faith.
  11. 11Notice how long a letter I have written to you with my own hand.
  12. 12Those who want to make a good impression outwardly are pressuring you to be circumcised, only to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ.
  13. 13Even those who are circumcised don't actually keep the law themselves. They just want you circumcised so they can glory in your flesh.
  14. 14As for me, I will never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Through that cross, the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
  15. 15For in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value; what matters is becoming a new creature.
  16. 16For all who follow this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.
  17. 17From now on, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.
  18. 18Brothers and sisters, may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
