The Growing Seed

²⁶He also said, "The Kingdom of God is like a man who scatters seed on the ground. ²⁷He goes to sleep at night and gets up each morning, and the seed sprouts and grows — though he has no idea how. ²⁸The soil produces the crop all by itself: first the stalk, then the head, then the full grain in the head. ²⁹As soon as the grain is ripe, the farmer swings his sickle, because harvest time has come."
