29As soon as they left the synagogue, they went to the home of Simon and Andrew, along with James and John. 30Simon's mother-in-law was lying in bed with a fever, and they told Jesus about her right away. 31He went to her, took her hand, and helped her up. The fever left her instantly, and she began serving them.

What happened?

After Jesus left the synagogue in Capernaum, he went with James and John to the home of Simon and Andrew. Simon's mother-in-law was sick in bed with a fever, and they told Jesus about her. He went to her, took her by the hand and helped her up. The fever left her, and she began to serve them.
