- 10When Jesus heard this, he was amazed. He turned to the crowd following him and said, "I tell you the truth — I haven't found faith this great anywhere in Israel."

- 25The disciples went to him and woke him up, saying, "Lord, save us! We are perishing!"
- 26He said to them, "Why are you so afraid, you of little faith?" Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.
- 27The men were stunned. "What kind of man is this?" they asked. "Even the wind and the sea obey him!"
- 28When they reached the other side in the region of the Gergesenes, two demon-possessed men came out from among the tombs to meet him. They were exceedingly fierce, so that no one dared travel that road.
- 29They shouted, "What do you want with us, Jesus, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the appointed time?"
